Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Limitato is the brainchild of university friends Gustav Peterson and Emrik Olausson, who started making belts from Swedish copper. However, only when they came across an archive of photos – which included famous faces such as John Lennon to Mick Jagger – did the idea of “Wearable Art” slowly come to life. Joining forces with some of the world’s most illustrious artists and photographers, the brand has established itself as a sartorial art gallery, carefully converting exceptional creative works into limited edition garments that exude the design duo’s ingenuity and attention to detail.
