Artisanship lies at the heart of the Colombian resort wear brand, Agua Bendita. Friends and founders Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez started their brand journey by handcrafting swimwear for loved ones at their grandmothers’ sewing machines. Inspired by their beloved Latin America and passionate about upholding traditional artisan techniques, the pair launched a collection of intricate swimwear back in 2003. Today, tactile embellishments, hand drawn prints, and a vivacious use of colour define their life-affirming range. Sustainably crafted and steered by a team of women and mothers, Agua Bendita embodies female empowerment.
